I am quite simply blown away with how quickly and brilliantly the teachers and school have responded to home learning during lockdown. Live lessons all day - with the teacher in view and charge of the children means parents can get on with their day/jobs/other kids. On speaking to parents at other schools it’s clear we are getting the full on hold treatment and I’m so grateful! I am not in the slightest bit worried about any lost education because of lockdown thanks to the way the school is handling things. In fact, my child’s is receiving first class teaching and her IT skills will be highly improved as a bonus!

My Granddaughter lives with me with her 2 brothers... Salfords School has done everything possible to help and support me since I had the children 7 years ago. My Granddaughter being able to go to school has helped me greatly as I had no clue how to home school at all.. Many thanks

Our son joined Salford's 17 months ago and has settled in well and made many new friends. We are very happy with the level of communication from the school, the assistance and guidance they provide to parents and our son's ongoing education.

    Keep up the good work!

We would like to compliment a particular teacher who has been especially supportive of our daughter through a difficult time. They were very prompt in returning calls and keeping us updated.
The teacher spoke to our daughter on numerous occasions and kept an open door for her to speak to him at any time. The support has meant that she is now a lot happier to attend school.

We have always been very happy with the response of the school to any concerns (which have been few and far between) we have raised.

The reception staff team has been amazing in supporting my son's transition into school. He is confident and happy to go to school and full of excitement at what he has been learning. Within just a few weeks he has made huge improvement in his writing and reading and is full of love for learning. The staff is enthusiastic and caring and seem really committed to getting the absolute best from the children with a sense of fun.

Having been in the school for a couple of years now, my child has really flourished and enjoyed the new ideas that have been introduced to the school for example the encouragement to walk to school and the great after school clubs such as the new world club. My child has made great progress and I am really impressed with the class presentations as it makes it clearer for the parents to understand the process and learning techniques.

My daughter joined the school in September 2017 in Reception. The whole transition to school has been really easy for all of us. My daughter is still excited about school and is making so much progress.

I've been so pleased with my daughter's progress in the last 15 months since she started in Reception at Salfords. She has increased in confidence and she is really enjoying the teaching, especially the new Read Write Inc program. As well as the great friendships that my daughter has made we have felt really welcomed as a whole family and have loved the chance to be a part of the school through the PTA. There are some amazing teachers and office staff at the school and I've been impressed with how accessible the headteachers are and with their vision for the school.

As a parent of a child in year 1, I'd like to comment on how pleased my husband & I are with our Daughter's progress since joining Salfords school. We have watched her flourish and engage with her new friends and teachers beautifully. One of the things I particularly like about the school is the wonderful sense of community spirit. I have made new friends and have very much enjoyed being involved with the school events and PTA. I have always felt very welcome at the school. The head teacher, office staff and teaching staff are friendly, approachable and always willing to help and take an interest in my daughter's well-being if I have any concerns. I hope that my Son too will be able to join the school in September 2018.

We are extremely happy with our Son's progress at Salfords. The teaching staff put a lot of effort into finding fun new ways to engage the children in their learning. The children are encouraged to do their best both academically and in their treatment of others through core values. There is a strong feeling of community and parents are kept involved through events such as quiz nights, Mother's day celebrations and shows. A brilliant school.
