Ospreys

It’s been a busy Autumn term, but I’m looking forward to the joys of Spring as the days get longer and warmer.

Planners

Please continue to ensure that your children read regularly at home and that your child practises their spellings. We will have a spelling test every Monday and new words will be given out too. You can keep up to date on your child's progress as the test and scores are documented in the planner. Please practise throughout the week using the Look-Say-Cover-Write-Check way.

In Year 5, we are challenging the pupils to read to an adult or older sibling as many times as possible. Certificates will be handed to children who read 25 (Bronze), 50 (Silver) and 100 (Gold) times. We would appreciate it if you were able to comment on how your child reads along with a signature.
